udev_monitor_new_from_netlink: error getting socket: Invalid Argument
mountall:mountall.c:3204 assertion failed in main: udev_monitor = udev_monitor_new_from_netlink(udev,"udev")
If you're trying to upgrade to Ubuntu Lucid and get this error, then you probably need to upgrade your kernel. Log into the slicemanager, pick a newer kernel and hit update. Your slice should reboot and start working. Otherwise, check the web console for startup errors. I'm successfully using 2.6.31-302-rs (at the time of writing).
Also, this forum post will get the slice booted, but it'll have the same problem on the next start.
This was my yak shaving exercise for today. :-)
